The Global Taiwan Institute (GTI) is pleased to announce the release of a special issue of the Journal of Indo-Pacific Affairs (JIPA), a peer-reviewed military journal published by Air University (Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama), the intellectual and leadership development center of the US Air Force and US Space Force. The spring 2025 issue of JIPA is a theme issue focused on Taiwan defense issues, jointly curated and edited by JIPA Editor Dr. Ernest Gunasekara-Rockwell and GTI Deputy Director John Dotson. The articles selected for this special issue address a range of complex issues related to Taiwan’s defense, including human resources concerns, strategy, force structure, and the challenge of non-kinetic political warfare.
