Bonny Ling
Dr. Bonny Ling is a scholar and practitioner who works on international human rights, with a focus on responsible business and decent work. Ling is executive director of Work Better Innovations, a social enterprise research consultancy that works on migrant integration in the UK; senior non-resident fellow with the University of Nottingham Taiwan Studies Programme; and research fellow with the Institute for Human Rights and Business. Ling wrote her PhD in law on human trafficking and China at the Irish Centre of Human Rights and is an expert on human trafficking, migration and forced labour. She graduated from Cambridge University with a M.Phil in criminology and the Fletcher School, Tufts University, with a MA in law and diplomacy. She writes on human rights, migration and business responsibilities for the CommonWealth Magazine, Ketagalan Media, New Bloom, Taipei Times, Taiwan Insight, and The News Lens. Her Global Taiwan Institute Scholarship project is an examination of Taiwan in global efforts to end modern slavery.
