Briana Boland

Briana Boland is a Fulbright master’s student at National Chengchi University in Taipei, where she studies Asia-Pacific regional politics with a focus on China and cross-Strait issues. Her GTI research explores Taiwan’s education ecosystem for China studies, analyzing Taiwan’s growing role in the training of international China expertise.

Before her role with Fulbright Taiwan, Briana conducted research on Chinese policymaking and political economy for the Freeman Chair in China Studies at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). Prior to that, she worked as a political risk analyst at the global law firm Dentons. She holds a BA in International Studies from Fordham University.
