Eliza Cormier is a 2026 Spring intern at the Global Taiwan Institute. She is a recent graduate of George Washington University with a BA in Chinese Language and Literature and Political Science. She has previously worked on US-Taiwan relations while interning during a semester abroad in Taipei, Taiwan, as well as with the US Department of State in Washington, DC. Her research interests focus on domestic politics in Taiwan and cross-strait relations.
