Jessica is a GTI 2025 Fall Intern. She was born and raised in Argentina to a Taiwanese family. She is currently a second-year Master’s student in Foreign Service at Georgetown University, concentrating in Global Politics and Security. Previously, Jessica worked at the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Argentina, where she served as secretary to the Ambassador as well as a political advisor. Her prior professional experience includes providing legal counseling to Argentine women facing gender-based violence, and teaching Mandarin at a Taiwanese school in Argentina. Jessica holds Bachelor’s degrees in International Relations and Political Science. She is also a certified English-Spanish translator. Her research interests include political and economic relations between Taiwan and Latin America and the Caribbean, with a focus on infrastructure development and financing, as well as cross-Strait relations.
