Lee Moore is finishing his dissertation at the University of Oregon, where he has taught Mandarin, Chinese literature and Chinese film and is currently managing a Chinese-language program. Lee’s research is focused on the way museums in the Chinese speaking world articulate narratives differently in different social and political environments. Lee is particularly interested the change undergone by Taiwanese museums as the country shifted to democracy, particularly how narratives have become open to more voices, mirroring the pluralistic turn of Taiwanese society.
