Malynda Magnussen received her B.S. in Diplomacy and Military Studies from Hawaii Pacific University (2007) and M.A. in History from American Military University (2011). She is currently a doctoral student in the School of International Relations Global Security program at American Public University. Additionally, Malynda is a visiting scholar at the Daniel. K. Inouye Asia Pacific Center for Security Studies. Her research focuses on societal resiliency and the protection of democracy.
