Haruka Chunhyang Satake is a young leader at the Pacific Forum, specializing in US-Asia security and diplomacy. She is Korean Japanese originally from Japan and graduated with an MA degree from the Elliott School of International Affairs of George Washington University in Washington, DC. Previously, she worked as a policy research fellow at the Edwin O. Reischauer Center for East Asian Studies, Johns Hopkins University. She writes on East Asian and US affairs, with articles published by The Stimson Center, The Diplomat, and The East Asia Forum.
