Klaas Dykmann is a historian and political scientist. Since 2010, he has worked as an Associate Professor for International Politics at Roskilde University, Denmark. He did research and taught in the Americas, Europe, South Africa, India, China, and Australia. His research has focused on the history and politics of inter-American, European-Latin American and Sino-Latin American affairs. Between October and December 2025, he was an International Visiting Fellow at the Taiwan Foundation for Democracy.
