Lillian Ellis is a Summer 2024 intern at the Global Taiwan Institute. She is a recent graduate from Scripps College, where she majored in Politics and minored in Chinese. Last summer, she studied abroad at National Taiwan University. Lillian completed her senior thesis at Scripps on Chinese political economics and feminist studies. Her research interests include economic issues, LGBTQ+ rights, and electoral politics in Taiwan. She has previously worked as a campaign manager in Washington state and as an intern for The Borgen Project.
