Mina Chen is a 2026 Summer Intern at the Global Taiwan Institute. She is a first-year Master of Security Studies student at Georgetown University, concentrating in technology and security. Previously, she obtained her Bachelor of International Relations from the Australian National University. Born and raised in Tainan, Taiwan, Mina has interned at the New Jersey State Economic Office in Taiwan working on US-Taiwan economic relations, as well as at Taiwanese NGOs focused on human rights and civil defense. Her research interests center on the evolving Taiwanese identity and US-Taiwan relations.
