James Jennion is a UK-based foreign policy analyst and writer. He is an associate fellow of the British Foreign Policy Group and an executive committee member of the UK Labour Foreign Policy Group. He previously worked for the UK Foreign Affairs Committee, where he advised on China and the Indo-Pacific. He is an incoming PhD candidate at the University of Leeds, where he will be researching democratic norm-shaping in the Indo-Pacific. His writing has appeared in publications included The Diplomat, Just Security, and The National Interest. He writes in an individual capacity.
